2. As carpet dries, dirt “wicks” back up into the fibers, causing stains to     reappear.
3. Moisture, which gets into the backing of the carpet, can cause it to weaken and degrade, shortening the life of your carpet.
4. Wet, slow-drying carpet can be a breeding ground for mold, fungus, mildew and bacteria.
5. Wet carpets inconvenience you because they can’t be used until they’re dry...sometimes as long as 2 days later.
6. Shampoos can leave a dirt-attracting residue which causes carpets to re-soil faster.
